He is now a midwestern guy, after a playing career at Iowa and a coaching career stop which has made him the defensive coordinator, linebacker coach and assistant head coach at Notre Dame, but Bob Diaco’s roots are in New Jersey–he’s from Cedar Grove.

And he is also the flavor of the week in terms of potential candidates to be a FBS head coach by January. Combine that with the now elite status of the ND defense, a prime reason why the Irish are unbeaten, ranked No. 3 in the country and in the hunt for their first national championship in 24 seasons, and you have more than enough reasons why Diaco is our Jerseyguy of the Week.

Mark, can you write an article about the best rest stops on the Mass Pike? The information would help when I travel to BC games. Keep up the good work, Mark.
